This course is taught in a series of four modules:

Module I     8 hours
Introduction and general theory as it pertains to the menstrual cycle: The cycle according to oriental medicine theory: The cycle according to allopathic medicine theory
Module II   16 hours
Common disorders, their patterns and treatment: Amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), irregular cycle, short and long cycles, flooding and scanty menses
Module III   16 hours
Complex disorders, their patterns and treatment: Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), recurrent ovarian cysts, fibroids, and perimenopausal syndrome
Module IV   8 hours
Infertility and Assisted Reproduction Techniques (ART): Patterns of infertility, and treatment protocols: How to work with women who are going the ART

The modules are delivered through weekly 2-hour online webinars, with supporting handouts being delivered electronically. Each 2-hour webinar is recorded for later use for participants, or for times when a participant is unable to get online at the scheduled time.

Module II   June 8, 2018 – August 10, 2018 (meets for eight, two-hour sessions Friday 9:00 am – 11:00 am MST June 8, 15, 22, July 13, 20, 27, and August 3 and 8
Module III  August 24, 2018 – October 12, 2018 (meets for eight, two-hour sessions every Friday 9:00 am – 11:00 am MST)
Module IV October 26, 2018 – November 16, 2018 (meets for four, two-hour sessions everyFriday 9:00 am – 11:00 am MST)
